After the completion of her studies, Priyanka returned back to Nepal to act in movies. Starting with the movie ‘Mero Best Friend’ she is currently considered the busiest actress in the Nepali movie industry.

SANCHITA LUITEL

When the first affair and the marriage with Aakash Shah didn’t go well, Sanchita Luitel was living alone after a divorce. During the shooting of ‘Maya Ta Maya Ho’, she got closer to actor Nikhil Upreti. Although married to Kopila Upreti, Nikhil was attracted to Sanchita and they eloped together to India. After living together for a  year in India, Sanchita returned back to Nepal to give birth to a son. Within a year of the birth of the son, she gave birth to a daughter and is living in her parent’s home in Old Baneshowr. Nikhil is now married to both Sanchita and Kopila and lives mostly in India.

SARANA SHRESTHA

Nepali actress Saranga Shrestha had married a US citizen. After living together for some time she had divorced and has recently announced an engagement to Ramesh Karki, a resident of Maryland, USA.  Originally from Myagdi Nepal, 34-year-old Ramesh is two years younger than Saranga. Saranga and Ramesh are planning a court marriage in February. The actual marriage according to our tradition is scheduled after 6-months of living together.

SHOVITA SIMKHADA

Savita Simkhada married a businessman living in Qatar, Nirajan Bhandari, and has relocated herself with her husband. She is currently helping her husband in his business. The love affair between the two started after meeting in a program called ‘Namaste Kollywood’. After a year-long affair, two got married in May of 2011. They performed a simple marriage and donated the money to sponsor needy kids in a school.
